International Student Exhibition
design objects
Identity. A key element of design methods. A reflection of self-confidence and awareness representing nations, regions, selected communities or directly the individuality itself.
The selection of designs by the students of the five cooperating universities represents a diverse range of objects, material and digital, everyday and festive, that shape our awareness of our own identity.
To a large extent, the projects are a generational statement of young designers who are facing a number of new challenges: from the ever-present search for sustainability, the potential or risks of new technologies that come with, for example, artificial intelligence, as well as finding one's own creative self. Therefore, in a wide range of original authorial approaches, we find echoes of traditions and history, as well as visions of possible future paths of design and visual culture.
The search for the topic does not end with the original Identity project. It is the natural driving force of other works that were created and continue to be created on school grounds. This allowed the original selection to be expanded and enriched with others whose impact is born from the verve and energy of their true identity and the quality of the experience they offer.
